This project transformed a deteriorating late-19th-century Victorian residence into a historically respectful, fully modernized family home while preserving its original character and architectural presence.

The original structure (shown in the inset) had suffered years of deferred maintenance after a devastating fire. The exterior exhibited failing siding, a weathered wraparound porch, an aging roof, deteriorated trim, and significant structural wear. Despite its condition, the home's steep rooflines, asymmetrical massing, and Victorian proportions provided a strong foundation for restoration.
